Support Worker

Salary: £72 – £84 per hour

Just ONE have an exciting position available for a full-time Support Worker based in Wrexham. The successful candidate will earn £9.90 – £11.50 depending on experience and qualification.

Contracts start from 0 to 48 hours, with overtime and sleeps extra. Sleep in pay rate is £72 – £84per sleep. Shift patterns are anywhere between 4 – 16 hours per hour over the course of 1 – 5 days.

As a Support Worker you will provide exceptional care and support to individuals. You will provide care and support in a person-centred way and give the individuals the opportunity to maintain their independence and gain new skills.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to individuals (dependant on package of support)
• individuals in line with their person-centred plans
• Support individuals in the day-to-day tasks involved in ordinary living
• Administer medication (dependant on package of support)
• Raise any safeguarding concerns regarding the individual
• Enable individuals to gain and maintain independence
• Support with individuals’ finances
• Take individuals to social activities
• Organise medical appointments for individuals
• Record daily activities
• Maintain family and friends contact with individual
• Maintain daily paperwork to a high standard
