We are working with a well-regarded Secondary School in Clacton that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher to join their successful Humanities department. Job Overview:
  • This school caters for students aged 11-16.
  • Full-time, Monday – Friday, History Teacher role.
  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated History lessons across KS3-KS4.
  • Inspire students through topics including British history, world history, conflict, and historical change.
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress to support strong attainment.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and discussion.
  • Work collaboratively with the Humanities department and wider school staff.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities.
  • Encourage students to develop analytical thinking, research, and written communication
  • skills .   • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching History at secondary level (KS3-KS4).

  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage learners of varying abilities.
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational
  • skills .
  • A proactive, positive, and collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
