Position: Administrator, Operations Administrator, Office Administrator, Admin, Administration Officer, Operations Administrator, Departmental Administrator
Based: Bury, Lancashire, North West
Package: Basic Up to £19,200 + 22 Days Holidays + Bank Holidays, Pension Scheme

The Role

A new position as an Administrator has been created within a multimillion pound solutions company, based in Bury Lancashire. Due to expansion, the role will develop further and future training opportunities to develop your role will be available.

As an Administrator you will provide supportive administrative services to the operations teams that include the Manufacturing and Procurement departments. You will support the teams in creating, maintaining, and managing a number of business tools.

As the Operations Administrator your duties will be varied and will involve the following:

  • Gathering a variety of data for different reports
  • Inputting KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators)
  • Creating, formatting and managing spreadsheets
  • Help in compiling and creating presentations in PowerPoint
  • Attending meetings and taking minutes
  • Effectively communicating with individual departments in order to get the right information from them
  • Managing timesheet process
  • Creating reports
  • Liaising with suppliers and clients
  • Carrying out other administrative duties that includes filing, telephone support
  • Assisting other Administration and Reception Staff to cover holidays and sickness absences

Skills and Experiences Required

  • Ideally have experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Further training can be provided
  • Must have good grammar
  • Excellent organisation, multi-tasking skills, ability to prioritise
  • Must possess the utmost level of integrity and the ability to handle confidential information
  • Good oral and written communication skills and able to gain information from others
  • Able to build rapport with others
  • Pro-active approach to your work
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight time constraints
  • Due to the location, you must own a car
