Advanced AAT Apprenticeship in Accountancy

£120 – £180 per week

Are you aged between 16 and 18 and looking for a career in Accounting? Do you want to earn as you learn?

With an LMPQ Advanced Apprenticeship in Accounting you can complete a professional qualification and gain valuable work experience at no cost to you. We are recruiting bright and enthusiastic young people, who want to learn Accounting skills and work with local employers.

An apprenticeship with LMPQ will enable you to develop high level, industry specific Accounting skills and assist you in achieving the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Level 3 Diploma.

(This is an apprenticeship vacancy for 16 – 18 years olds.)

Training to be provided within the apprenticeship:

• AAT Level 1 (Foundation)
• AAT Level 2 Certificate
• AAT Level 3
• Functional Skills Maths & English

Entry Requirements/Competencies/Skills/:

• 3 GCSE’s grade A-C to include English and Maths
• Smart Appearance
• Positive attitude
• Good team player who helps others to achieve their aim
• Excellent time keeping and attendance

As part of the apprenticeship, FULL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED on all aspects required for the role, but you must have a passion for Accounting.

You will be required to complete a 10 week programme prior to starting your Apprenticeship where you will spend 2 days a week gaining your Level 1 and 2 AAT accounting qualifications. On successful completion of this, you will move onto your apprenticeship where 1 day a week will be spent in classroom based learning to gain your Level 3 AAT Diploma and 4 days in your work placement. LMPQ will help match you with a local employer where you will be paid an Apprentice wage.
