Assistant Corporate Accountant

Key purpose of the Project Accountant – Corporate role will include:
*Responsible for the financial and corporate reporting of UK development entities including the production of the monthly project report
*Responsible for producing monthly management accounts on an accurate and timely basis in accordance with the department timetables
*Responsible for the efficient and timely drawdown of funds from JV Partners on all pre-development projects and reconcile against total WIP recoverable.
*Management and analysis of monthly timesheets and recharge of salaries to projects
*Monitoring and reporting of WIP expenditure and expenses
*Responsible for quarterly allocation of overheads to projects
*Responsible for co-ordinating the monthly production and review of the Projects Report
*Monthly P&L reviews with department heads including analysis of variances to budget
*Produce and submit quarterly VAT returns
*Produce Finance Packs to be submitted to Group at Half Year and Year End, including preparation of a full workpapers file for external audit

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes/skills:
* ACA/CA/CIMA/ACCA newly qualified or qualified with a minimum of 1 years PQE
* Experience of preparing management accounts
* Good analytical skills along with a high level of attention to detail
* Experience of liaising with and building a rapport with key stakeholders
