Accountant

Cooper Lomaz are supporting an established accountancy practice to recruit an Accountant to join their expanding team. Reporting into the Practice Manager, you will work with a variety of clients, predominantly SME’s, OMB’s and self employed individuals, with all of their Tax and Accountancy needs. Candidates will ideally have experience working within a client facing role, with the ability to complete financials and discuss these directly with clients.

The successful candidate will support the production of clients accounts, personal and company tax computations, VAT returns and Payroll duties, whilst also supporting clients with any ad hoc queries. Candidates will have prior experience working within Accountancy practice and whilst a qualification is preferred (AAT/ACCA/ACA) candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply. Strong IT skills and experience using Sage or Quickbooks is also highly desirable.
