Accounts Assistant – 12 Month Maternity Contract

Accounts Assistant – Maternity contract 12 months. Our Client, an established investment group are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team to cover a 12 month maternity contract. The business has a range of properties under management and are a leading name within the property sector.

The business has a lean structure and are seeking a dynamic candidate who is able take control of the following responsibilities:

• Identifying duplicate payments from checking suppliers’ accounts.
• Inputting and updating all tenancy records on the specific property management system along with ensuring rent breaches are added on the system.
• Reconciling rent deposits and ensuring they are in line with the bank interest.
• Investigating and clear old outstanding entries.
• Ensuring monthly payments are made on time.
• Producing the variance analysis of expenditure for specific properties.
• Assisting with purchase ledger, set up supplier accounts, processing of invoices and set up of BACS payments on a weekly basis.
• Posting all payments that are made by tenants whether by BACS, standing order, direct debit or cheque.
• Assisting with credit control of all arrears on the commercial portfolio and production of regular arrears/aged debtors’ reports.

The Person: To apply, you must have come from a property background, ideally with 2-3 years’ experience in this sector and have used one of the ‘name’ property systems such as APB, ECS, Yardi, Horizon, TRAMPS etc. This is a unique opportunity to join a reputable expanding firm with the opportunity for a mixed role and learn off sector leaders.
