1st line/2nd line/Helpdesk/Technical Support
Essential Key Skills:
Exposure to all or most of the following:
- MS Exchange
- MS OS and MS Server
- Helpdesk
- TCP/IP
- Firewalls
- Antivirus
- Backup
- Friendly, confident phone manner
Suitable candidates will have some current experience in desktop/1st line technical support and looking for your next career move. Candidates with strong IT qualifications or certifications and telephone based support work from another sector will also be considered.
The Role:
Working as part of a friendly team of 2nd line support professionals, you will be providing 1st line support with some occassional second line responsibilities. Taking incoming calls and emails and dealing with client issues and faults wherever possible. If you can fix then do, or pass up to one of the more experienced members of ther team or external consultants. This is a varied positon which will give you a lot of exposure to new technologies.
