Description
If you have a love of all things technical and relish solving problems, then developing your career as an Engineering Technician could be the right next step for you. We have numerous sites across the UK and it’s the perfect place to learn about maintaining our cutting-edge machinery and set yourself up for a rewarding career.
This is a 4 year programme consisting of a blend of theory and practical learning. You can expect day release to your local college together with access to experienced technicians on work-based assignments and CCE led training & development.
You will gain engineering qualifications in the following areas:
•NVQ Level 2 Performing Engineering Operations, typically during your first year
•NVQ Level 3 in Electrical/Mechanical, typically during your second and third year
•BTEC National in Electrical/Mechanical, typically during your third and fourth years.
You may also be eligible for gaining NVQ Level 2 in functional skills, typically during your first and second years.
Your apprenticeship programme will be strongly supported by Coca-Cola Enterprises’ programmes. You can expect access to first class mentoring and further learning and development opportunities that may lead to a Degree or further.
And if that’s not enough!, you will be a member of the national Coca-Cola Enterprises’ apprenticeship scheme where you will have access to a network of apprentices and further development opportunities; just to make sure you have every opportunity to maximise and develop a world class career in Engineering.
Qualifications
We would expect you to have at least GCSE grade’s A* to C (or equivalent) in Maths, English, Science and ICT. You should also be able to demonstrate a mechanical or electrical aptitude (perhaps in your hobbies or interests outside school) and to have a strong desire to become a competent engineer.
