A Legal Firm in Edinburgh has a new opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join their Real Estate division. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who would like to develop their skills and works towards becoming a Legal Secretary in the future.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the legal secretaries and fee earners within the Real Estate division.
Duties will include;
- Scanning, opening and closing client files
- Sending and recalling client files from storage
- Creating and maintaining a centralised spreadsheet of items going to and from storage
- Copy and audiotyping (BigHand)
- Typing testing clauses
- Maintaining filing cabinets
- Preparing inventories for deeds
- Preparing fee notes
Previous administrative experience in a professional office environment is essential for this role. Our client is looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced demanding environment and is keen to develop their skills. Candidates must be well organised and able to use their own initiative. Good verbal and written communication skills and a professional telephone manner are essential.
