Finance Assistant

Type: Permanent

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Purchase ledger maintenance – receiving and processing all invoices, expense forms and requests for payment, including supplier account reconciliations
  • Approving purchase orders
  • Preparing BACS/CHAPS payments, issuing cheques
  • Bank and petty cash reconciliations
  • Maintaining fixed assets register and spreadsheet
  • Journal preparation and entry
  • Assisting with the preparation of annual accounts
  • Assisting with the sales ledger
  • Making sure everyone in the company is up to date with the timesheets
  • Ensuring all filing is done in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Any other ad hoc duties as necessary
