Finance Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities
- Purchase ledger maintenance – receiving and processing all invoices, expense forms and requests for payment, including supplier account reconciliations
- Approving purchase orders
- Preparing BACS/CHAPS payments, issuing cheques
- Bank and petty cash reconciliations
- Maintaining fixed assets register and spreadsheet
- Journal preparation and entry
- Assisting with the preparation of annual accounts
- Assisting with the sales ledger
- Making sure everyone in the company is up to date with the timesheets
- Ensuring all filing is done in a timely and accurate manner.
- Any other ad hoc duties as necessary
