1st Year Plumbing Apprentice

Dornan is an international multi discplined projects Company and we are currently seeking 1st year Plumbing Apprentices for projects throughout the London area. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a position with Dornan as we continue our expansion across the UK. Successful candidates will be required to complete the JTL apprenticeship assessment if not already completed.

Candidate should have a key interest in the industry and will gain experience in the following:

• Use a grinder, levels and threading machine
• Ability to use a sonex set and solder.
• Ability to fit lines of brackets straight and level
• Have knowledge of the different sizes of fittings and pipe
• Any other duties as required

Requirements

• Candidates should have a keen interest in working in an industrial contracting environment
• Applicants should be conscientious with a willingness to learn
• Practical skills, strong problem – solving skills, well organised, thorough and methodical
• Ability to read and comprehend written material at an appropriate level
• Good communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with others are required
• Candidates must be willing to travel to various projects throughout the London area
