Working within the Buying team, this Account Manager position is an integral role within a rapidly growing telecommunications business, focussed on managing both new and existing buying accounts.

As an Account Manager you will be joining a global communications services provider which offers wholesale and retail telephony services to an impressive client base.

The company has experienced a 30% increase in revenue within the last 12 months and has ambitious plans for future growth. Joining as an Account Manager, this role offers the chance to work exclusively with high end brands, with excellent progression opportunities.

Responsibilities as an Account Manager (Telecoms):

  • Working to increase margins and revenue for the Global Sales Team through effectively negotiating market competitive rates
  • Following up on warm leads to generate new business
  • Regularly monitoring / analysing rates and quality on routes in order to advise vendors
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors

Core skills:

  • 2+ years’ experience in an account management role within the telecommunications industry
  • Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent negotiating abilities
  • Highly proactive, confident and capable of working well under pressure
