Accounts Payable Manager

A brand new client to Ascendant recruitment is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join their team in Milton Keynes. Due to relocation my client is currently recruiting a number of vacancies in their Milton Keynes office.

The successful AP manager will ideally have at least 5 years experience within accounts payable and a minimum of 2 years managing a small team of people.

This role is being recruited on a permanent basis paying a salary of between £30K and £36k dependant upon experience.

Responsibilities:

• Previous experience of managing a small team
• Be able to demonstrate your knowledge within purchase ledger
• Ability to conduct monthly one to one reviews
• Overseeing the process of high volumes of invoices /queries
• Implementing a more efficient process as you see fit
• Exposure to management accounting
• A proven track record of being organised and thorough
• Motivating a small team to achieve all deadlines and KPI’s
• Adapting to changes and confidently implementing them within the team
• The ability to delegate efficiently
