My client, a friendly and ambitious organisation based in North Watford, are urgently seeking a motivated and hardworking Administrative Assistant to join their close-knit team. This person will be key in assisting the Management Team in day-to-day administrative work and general office duties.

*Opening and distributing post on a daily basis
*Answering phones and directing calls to the relevant person
*Registering purchase orders on the Purchase Ledger accounts system
*Distributing purchase order numbers to staff and suppliers
*Ordering stationery
*Managing the development and maintenance of the office facilities, equipment and consumables
*Booking flights and accommodation
*Compiling shipping invoices for export when necessary
*Keeping mobile phone records up-to-date and ordering new phones
*Updating holiday records
*Updating staff movements spreadsheet on a monthly basis
*Assisting with marketing by placing advertisements, organising company literature and managing attendance at exhibitions and conferences
*Completing client questionnaires
*Maintaining and archiving project files

You must have:
*Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills – the ability to communicate effectively to all customers and employees by phone and email is an essential requirement
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products (predominantly Outlook, Word and Excel) is essential.
