Our client provides a service to enhance performance and extend the life of metal components for a range of sectors including: aerospace, automotive, medical and architectural.
They are looking to recruit an accounts administrator who will be responsible to the Division Manager for the supervision of office staff (where applicable) and the Division Accounting System. You will be responsible to perform the following tasks or to delegate to office staff:
• Invoicing and entry into the Accounts program.
• Reviewing outstanding accounts and control of the customer aging including communication with customers and collection of overdue bills.
• Reconciliation of remittances with outstanding invoices by order, part number and customer.
• Preparation and submission of aging reports to corporate office.
• Maintain records of Journal entries, purchase orders, payments, budgets, assets, appropriations, and other accounts payable documentation as required.
• Typing and submission of customer communication documents.
• Control of all Human Resource Documents and collection of the necessary documents for personnel files in accordance with the Corporate Policy.
• Keep track of vacation, holiday, and sick time for benefit distribution to employees.
• Submit payroll hours for processing to corporate office.
• Prepare and submit all reports requested by the Division Manager and Corporate office in accordance with the required schedules and form requirements.
• File, store, protect, and maintain all documents and data in accordance with the documentation retention procedures.
• Will be required to answer incoming calls and route to correct personnel
• Look after all aspects of building maintenance/repair and service contracts
Person Specification
• Needs to have a complete working knowledge of Sage 50 Accounting Including Purchase Order processing and Stock Control and knowledge of the Data structures in order to manage extract queries and daily accounting.
• Needs to be competent and understand all aspects of MS Excel Spreadsheets, Formulas & Macros (experience of VBA would be an advantage)
• Must have above average working knowledge of Excel.
• Ability to work on own initiative and to solve problems. Produce management reports and statistics.
This is a full time permanent position working Monday – Thursday 8-4:30 and Friday 8-2:30 but part time hours are available for the right candidate.
