1st Line Support / Service Desk (Junior) – Fareham / Hampshire
Salary: £19k – £24k depending on experience + package
Location: Fareham / Hampshire commutable from Portsmouth, Chichester, Whiteley, Southampton, Winchester and Basingstoke.
Our specialist IT Service Provider client are urgently looking for a number of 1st / 2nd Line / Service desk support / engineers to be based in their offices in Fareham – Hampshire.
Working hours 9.30 – 6pm
We are interested in seeing a variety of candidate: recent IT graduates, colleague leavers with 1year+ experience or someone with 2-3 years experience and you are looking for a company with training / career progression.
Role OverviewDuties & Responsibilities:
- To remotely support a wide number of our customers via the telephone and remote management.
- Offering excellent and prompt customer service and representing TMCS in a professional and courteous manner.
- To provide excellent customer care and support through efficient and organised ticket management
- Providing first line resolution to incidents and requests, and appropriately escalating all others
- Assessing ticket priorities and escalating when required
- Liaising with third parties and customers with regard to incident resolution and requests
- Initiate basic back up restorations
Customer Experience
- Handling customer queries and complaints as required
- Escalate any customer issue or problem that needs further investigation or assistance to resolve in collaboration with Account Management Team
- Assist Service Desk Supervisor in managing Service Desk in such a way as to deliver excellent customer service
