Overview

Guildford based business requires an Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger Clerk to join them on a 9 month fixed term contract basis to cover maternity.

About You

You will have some experience of Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable with experience of processing invoices.

You will be accurate and pro-active with good spreadsheet skills.

You will live in or near Guildford, Surrey – for example Guildford, Aldershot, Woking, Farnham, Godalming etc

You will be happy to join a company on a 9 month fixed term contract basis (to cover maternity). You must be happy to commit to this duration.

About The Role

This is a 9 month fixed term contract to help a company whilst someone is off on maternity leave.

The role will involve:
* Scanning and profiling invoices
* Entering invoices and expenses on to the AP system
* Preparing approved invoices for payment
* Making payments (sterling and foreign currency) by BACS, CHAPS and cheque
* Checking statements received from suppliers
* Dealing with internal and external telephone queries
* Monitoring aged creditor information
