Our client is a leading Installer of Data Cabling and Support Services.
Increased growth has led to the opening of a new role for a 17th Edition Qualified Electrician to join their Peterborough based operation:
Qualifications
Completed an Approved Electrical Apprenticeship, and successfully completed City & Guilds Accredited training programs for Electrical Installations including BS7671 17th Edition and knowledge or certification in Inspection and Testing as a minimum, with 5 years’ post qualification experience. IPATH, ECS, JIB and PASMS qualifications are an advantage.
Job Description
To liaise with department Managers on specific projects in order to define and plan work activities, including site establishment where required.
To monitor the operation of site establishments in order to set objectives to ensure the site work elements of Projects are executed within agreed quality standards and completed on time and within budgets.
To generate, through the Electrical Manager/ Supervisor all site related documentation required by the Project, at all stages of the contract.
In conjunction with Electrical Manager/Supervisor ensure that all site installations are compliant with customer and British Standard Specifications (BS7671).
To inform the Electrical Manager/Supervisor on a regular basis of the projects progress and any problem areas.
To maintain a high quality of workmanship in Site Installations.
Liaise with customer personnel to maintain good working relationship and act as a first point of contact between Remark and the Customer.
To ensure that specific task targets are met.
To Supervise or undertake, where appropriate, elements of site works.
