Assistant Accountant – St Neots

ST NEOTS, CAMBRIDGESHIRE – My client, a service provider based in St Neots, require an ambitious individual to join their team on a permanent basis in this busy Assistant Accountant role.

Working closely with the Finance Manager and Head of Finance your duties will include;

– Raising of all Head Office Invoices
– Intercompany invoicing and recharges, journal posting, cost investigation
– Weekly sales and payroll reporting to senior management
– Management of the billing process
– Cost Reviews
– Accruals & Prepayments
– Coding Adjustments
– Liaising with outside organisations payment chasing, Barclaycard queries etc
– General Reporting Debtors, VAT and Creditors
– Support to cashier for payments and cash-books postings
– Bank reconciliations

You should be AAT qualified and/or a current ACCA/CIMA studier looking to develop your career alongside your qualifications. Full support along with progression opportunities are available for the right candidate.

Previous experience in a working in a fast paced finance role is essential. Strong communication skills and an advanced working knowledge of MS Excel would also be highly advantageous.
