Architect – Newcastle Based

An established Architectural consultancy are looking to appoint an experienced Architect to their growing team to lead on projects across the UK and help move the business forward. They are solely based in the North East with projects taking them further afield.

The role is based in Newcastle and would involve being client facing as well as managing and developing internal teams to reach their full potential. They have a mixture of qualified architects, technicians and construction professionals giving them a team of just over 20.

The consultancy are growing at a sustainable pace and have a wide spread of projects however they are continually looking to expand into other sectors. They encourage autonomy and ownership of projects and promote a relaxed yet hardworking culture. You will be responsible for feasibilities, preparing reports for the client to sign off, taking projects through planning, taking monthly client meetings and discussing projects at the various stages of pre planning and post planning, as well at utilising the management systems to effectively and efficiently run projects.

The consultancy are looking for a qualified Architect, who can be hands on, deliver jobs on site, take meetings, be client facing and be able to design using AutoCAD/Sketch Up/Photoshop.
