This position is based in: London, South East England
Salary: Circa £18,000 – £20,400 DOE
Hours: Up to 37.5 hours per week, with 1 in 4 Saturday working – Part time considered

Right now we need you to be part of the friendly team at our thriving bookstore in Fleet Street.

The store itself is a small business, so you’ll need to get to grips with all aspects of its operation. There’s a real variety, plus the chance to build your skills in new areas. That’s why a flexible approach is important, plus the willingness to take the initiative and go that extra mile to deliver outstanding customer service.

In addition, you will have excellent written and verbal communication, team-working and merchandising skills and strong previous experience in a face-to-face customer service environment.

If you’d like to be considered for the Senior Bookseller position you’ll also have previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role and have the knack of organising workloads and keeping the team engaged and motivated to deliver high standards.

Trading hours: Monday to Friday from 9am to 7pm and Saturday from 10am to 5pm.
A full-time week is 37.5 hours and would include Saturdays on approximately a 1 in 4 basis.
Part-time hours would be considered to fit with key trading times.
