Greif FPS employs around 6,000 employees in 19 countries. The UK offices are based next to the plant in Thirsk, North Yorkshire.
The role of Account Manager:
Ultimately responsible for selling industrial packaging products, specifically Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (or FIBCs) to new and existing customers in the agriculture, building, food, pharmaceutical and chemical markets. Major responsibilities include:

Managing the sales process for existing customers.

Managing the sales process for new prospects, from initial contact through to closure.

Dealing with customer enquiries face to face, over the phone or via email.

Contacting prospective customers and discussing their requirements.

Achieving all revenue targets & objectives in line with the Business Plan.

Reporting business trends and performance to the National Sales Manager.

Developing & maintaining successful business relationships with all prospects.

Identifying customer needs.

Planning and organising the day to ensure all opportunities are maximised.

Developing a full understanding of the business market-place.

Requirements

Bachelor degree or equivalent form of higher education

Good interpersonal skills

Ability to build and maintain good customer relationships

Ability to manage multiple commercial processes

Can create and deliver convincing arguments to an executive audience.
