Their products are sold into a wide range of industries including print, packaging, automotive, electronics, and aerospace as well as providing products for the consumer market.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

The role is a challenging territory sales role managing a large geographic area including the South West, South Coast and M4 Corridor. The position will be responsible for achieving sales targets within the region, selling to end users within the manufacturing and engineering sectors via an established distributor network. This is a stand-alone role with the jobholder given a great deal of autonomy to manage their own diary and territory approach, with the backing of substantial training and development from the business.

REQUIREMENTS: Area Sales Manager – Industrial Distribution

As the ideal candidate you will have the following attributes:
* Proven track of selling an industrial product. You will have the capacity to sell a technical consumable product into engineers and the shop floor. Products of particular interest include adhesives, abrasives, lubricants and fasteners.
* Experience of managing a distributor network. You will have had a history of successfully managing distributor accounts ideally with some direct contact with end-users.
* Further Education level. Although you may not be graduate level you will have some form of either business related or technical further education.
* Drive to succeed with a can-do attitude. You will be self-motivated and happy to work from a home office.
