Accounts Supervisor

Our client, a Top 10 chartered practice based in the City, is looking to grow their team with the addition of an Accounts Supervisor.

They are looking for someone to join their Business Support team which provides clients with the full range of accounting and back office services, including bookkeeping, accounts preparation, management accounting, VAT compliance, forecasting and budgeting.

You will be responsible for liaising with junior team members and Senior Management. You will look after a portfolio of large clients over a variety of industries.

Key aspects of the role will include:

• Oversee junior member of the team and make sure invoices, bank payments and all other client reporting are prepared on a timely basis
• Provide junior team members with training to ensure they are up to date with key matters
• Delegate work to junior members of the team to ensure that they are able to develop in their role
• Assist with the generation of new business
• Acting as the main point of contact for the client
• Build and maintain relationships with clients
• Provide technical support on accounting matters
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts
• Prepare and review annual financial statements under UK, IFRS and US GAAP
• Preparation of consolidated financial statements under UK, IFRS and US GAAP
• Assist with the preparation of budgets, cashflows and forecasts
• Assist with the implementation of new accounting systems

The client is looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with a minimum of 6 months post qualified experience. You will have knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP and will have experience of supervising and mentoring a team.
