1st / 2nd Line IT Support Analyst (Italian Speaking Role)

IT Support Analyst / 1st Line / 2nd Line / Service Desk / Permanent / Nottinghamshire / Derbyshire

My client, a well-established business with a global presence is looking for a passionate 1st / 2nd Line IT Support Analyst who is fluent in speaking Italian to join their growing IT team.

There will be a blended approach to home / office working from my client’s head office on the border of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

This is a full time, permanent role paying £27,600 – £30,000 plus benefits dependant on experience.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st line support to all end users globally as part of a single, regionally dispersed, ITSC Helpdesk
  • Incident Management and Resolution
  • Ability to solve basic, common user problems in real time, including software functionality; data communication/network troubleshooting and installation, PC and network configuration; operating systems and browser related issues
  • Escalation to Tier 2 when unable to resolve issues
  • Problem creation and assignment to Tier 2 / 3
  • Documentation of Break / Fixes in IT Knowledge Base
  • Liaise with 3rd parties as required
  • Work closely with global IT team

Key Skills and Experience required:

  • Fluent in speaking Italian
  • Previous experience working in a similar 1st or 2nd line IT Support or Service Desk role
  • Basic Microsoft Office experience, including Word and Excel
  • Previous experience using an IT Support Ticketing System
  • Technical degree or Microsoft certifications
  • Qualification and/or knowledge of ITIL
  • Ideally posses a technical degree or have relevant industry qualifications
  • Experience with some of the following technologies would also be great; Windows 10, Citrix, Active Directory, SCCM, Windows Server 2016, Microsoft Office 365, Cisco Software / Hardware, Dell Hardware.
  • Full UK Driving license.
