Our client in Leighton Buzzard is a small to medium sized based company who specialise in Professional & Commercial Audio, Lighting, Video and Special Effects to the Trade.

They believe passionately in providing the highest level of customer service and invest in their commitment to drive the business forward.

They are looking for an experienced person for their accounts department who can show dedication and enthusiasm.

You will be:-

• Responsible for and assisting with account functions including;
  • Purchase Ledger
  • Sales Ledger
  • VAT
  • General Administration
• Dealing with customer enquiries, taking orders and selling within own capability
• Be responsible for your own self administration & organisation, including all correspondence both internally & externally

Key Skills & Competencies they are looking for are:-

• Computer literate
  • Microsoft Office Programs
    • Excel
    • Word
    • Outlook
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV would be preferable
• Excellent communication skills both orally & in writing plus numeracy skills
• Able to effectively manage own time & balance workload – Good with “time management”
• Experience working in an accounts department

They are not necessarily looking for a qualified person however; a reasonable level of technical accounting ability and understanding is essential. We accept that this may well have been gained through practical experience and in many ways this is of greater importance than academic qualifications.
