Do you have teaching assistant experience working with children with SEND? Are you looking for a new challenge?

Tradewind are in need of Teaching Assistants who are looking to work 1:1 supporting children with SEND. In this role you would be working with children with differing needs, such as Speech & Language difficulties, ASC, ADHD and other needs. You would be supporting them with their routines, social interactions, behaviour and academic progress. If you are passionate about supporting children then this will be the role for you.

The ideal candidate would:

• Be understanding, patient and flexible
• Have some understanding of SEND needs
• Work effectively as a team
• Have an intertest in education

Tradewind work with a large of schools across the Stockport area including: Reddish, Heavily, Heald Green, Cheadle Hulme and Brammal. To be successful in this Teaching Assistant role, you must:

• Provide a CV covering employment history over the last 10 years with any gaps explained
• Be subject to an enhanced DBS check and Overseas Police Check (if applicable)
