Our client is fast-moving, full-service marketing communications agency. They specialise in B2B communications in science and healthcare and are looking to expand their scope in other sectors, including B2C.

Our client has a fantastic role for an experienced account manager and all-round marketeer who wants scope for personal development. Working with the Client Account Director and other colleagues, from the outset you will take on responsibility for varied marcomms and writing activities including:

Marketing strategy
Developing marketing communications proposals/presentations covering strategy and tactics, both for clients and new business prospects.

Account handling
Managing and prioritising concurrent projects in integrated content marketing programmes for a number of clients, ensuring activities are completed on time, on budget and on brief. Requires the ability to build excellent client and media relationships. Some travel (mostly UK).

Marcomms
Managing the creation of the following from the initial brief to completion:

Digital marketing campaigns (e-newsletters, Adwords, web content, online advertising)

Exhibition stands

Video production

Press advertising, advertorials/inserts

Direct mail

Marketing collateral

Websites/microsites

Content Marketing
Writing content for a broad range of communications including:

Case studies

Newsletters

Traditional PR: Articles and press releases

Sales material including brochures

Websites

Social media – mainly blogs/LinkedIn/Twitter

This might include proactively uncovering case studies, conducting interviews and then writing the piece. You must be able to understand the context and significance of quite technical subjects.

Media relations
Developing great relationships with their clients’ target media and pitching/placing articles

Personal attributes:

Understanding and experience of a range of marketing activities (PR/content marketing, digital marketing, events, advertising, printed materials and social media)

Strong writing and communication/presentation skills

Excellent project management skills – prioritising & delivering multiple projects

Outstanding attention to detail

Ability to think creatively

Confident, enthusiastic, can-do attitude, with a flexible working approach

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years agency experience

Degree or similar qualification
