O365 Technical Support Engineer

A powerhouse within the cloud computing platform industry is looking for a O365 Technical Support Engineer to join their team in Staines on an initial 12 month assignment with the flexibility to work remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Create a user experience through the delivery of high-quality DT Collaboration solutions
  • Actively contribute to capability uplift through the testing, implementation, and adoption of new technology / solutions
  • Ensure the health and operational efficiency of the DT Collaboration ecosystem is maintained including the management of service availability to meet or exceed agreed SLAs and driving continuous improvement actions
  • Work closely with peers to prioritise and successfully manage simultaneous projects
  • Ensure requests and/or incidents are addressed swiftly
  • Work with procurement team to aid the purchase requirements related to collaboration tools
  • Provide expertise within IT and across the business supporting solutions that enhance productivity with a focus on building a flexible, scalable, and secure solutions in Office 365
  • Provide guidance, expertise, and user consultation services on SharePoint projects utilising Office 365
  • Utilise Microsoft Flow to automate and improve customer workflows
  • Possess an overall knowledge of Azure AD Integration
  • Utilise Azure AD App Permissions to help setup automations as needed
  • Troubleshoot user reported issues with SharePoint Online and OneDrive sync clients, Office Web Apps, and other O365 workstreams.
  • Standardise workflow creation, document processes, and create User Guides and KB Articles
  • Help define and measure KPIs to maintain the health of services
  • Identify opportunities for business process automation / collaboration and provide solutions that drive adoption, streamline processes, and increase user productivity
  • Evaluate O365 capabilities and make recommendations for leveraging new features in SharePoint-related solutions

Skills / Experience Required

  • Must have hands-on administration and implementation experience with the Microsoft 365 platform, including Intune, productivity tools (Office 365)
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Zoom, Teams, O365 tools
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced high growth environment
  • Experience with project management and issue tracking software
  • Hands-On experience in the administrating of Azure AD
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft OneDrive/ SharePoint APIs
  • Bachelors/ Masters in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Any additional certifications in O365/Azure is a plus
