Accounts Clerk

Our client, an established Stafford based business, require an experienced Accounts Clerk for an ongoing Temporary contract. It is essential that you have relevant experience in a similar role.

Working within a large accounts department you will be responsible for posting cash, matching invoices to allocated cash and updating queries on an excel spreadsheet. Other duties will include the daily reconciliation of bank and credit card statements, dealing with suppliers over the phone, checking for any price discrepancies and raising invoices. General administration work is also involved along with additional adhoc duties. You will have a minimum 12 months experience of working within an accounts department, have a good understanding of excel and have the ability to work in a team environment. The office environment is friendly, hardworking and busy in the format of open plan with kitchen facilities onsite. Full training on the bespoke system will be offered and a long term career path for the right candidate. You will have quick and accurate processing skills along with good communication skills and he hardworking and reliable. The role would ideally suit someone who is available for an immediate start.
