The Role

Working within the Engineering Team, the Administration Assistant will primarily provide secretarial and administrative support to the IMIU engineering team based around the world. The key activities and responsibilities of the position will include:

  • Engineering report processing and management of follow-up and feedback
  • Corresponding with insurance brokers and clients to arrange engineering surveys
  • Supporting the team of Risk Engineers with travel planning and logistics

About You

The ideal candidate will be a diligent, highly self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a small but vibrant company. You will need to be able to work both independently and as part of a team and to be flexible and adaptable and be capable of handling multiple tasks. Ensuring the ultimate quality of the engineers’ reports is essential and proof reading and report formatting to a very high standard are key demands of this position.

  • Excellent English grammar & language
  • Proof reading
  • Experience of Administration & Secretarial support role
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Word, Excel, Outlook,
  • Data entry
  • Attention to detail
  • Organisational ability
  • Knowledge of Geographical locations
  • Good Telephone manner
