Accounts Payable Clerk – Fashion

The HQ of a prestigious British fashion retailer is seeking an accomplished Accounts Payable Clerk to join its Finance team based in Central London.

The role will include a variety of responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Matching, batching, coding circa 200 multicurrency invoices per week
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Payment runs
• Bank reconciliations
• Assisting in Receivables as and when necessary
• Assisting in month-end; accruals, prepayments

To be considered for this fantastic opportunity you MUST meet the following criteria:

• Some solid, stable Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger experience
• Bank reconciliation experience essential
• Process improvement desirable but not essential
• Able to see opportunity within a challenge
• Confident, professional, with impeccable communication skills
• Hard-working, efficient, with excellent attention to detail
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Warm, sociable with a lively, energetic nature
