Accounts Assistant required for a new opportunity based in Edgbaston. This is a varied position involving purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank reconciliation and assisting in the production of reports. You will be responsible for chasing members of the public for outstanding invoices, dealing with queries that arise, such as change in credit card or address details, and posting and allocating payments when they arrive. You will also deal with processing invoices, matching and coding, reconciling supplier statements and making payments. Other duties includ assisting the Accountant and Finance Manager with accruals and the production management reports.

This is a newly created role for a growing company. They are looking for someone who has Sage Line 50 experience, this is essential for the post. You will have strong bank reconciliation experience and have been responsible for credit control, sales ledger and purchase ledger in the past. This role is being recruiting on a full time or part time basis, if part time it will be 5 days a week, perhaps school hours. They are keen to find someone who can start straight away.
