Short vacancy description:
We are looking for an Apprentice/Trainee Researcher to join our growing company. Successful Apprentice will be principally responsible for assisting the company’s Consultants in finding suitable candidates for roles that our clients have given us to fill. This will consist of searching for suitable candidates within a variety of sources including job boards and LinkedIn.
A secondary aspect of the role will be to help our accounts and back office team with invoicing, compliance duties such as chasing references and other back office activities that occur at a recruitment company.

Full job description
Research / Resourcing Aspect (85% of role)
– Searching for CVs on job boards such as Jobsite, Reed, Etc
– Searching for relevant profiles using LinkedIn Recruiter
– Contacting (by email or phone) relevant candidates to determine availability and suitability – Placing job adverts that Consultants have constructed on various job boards
– Searching for relevant CVs using the internal database
– Using other networking methods to find other candidate eg social media
Accounts / Admin Aspect (15% of role)
– Invoicing
– Timesheet administration
– Spreadsheet admin
– Data input
(please note the Apprenticeship funding is only available for applicants aged 16-23)
Future Prospects
You can progress to becoming one of our Recruitment Consultant (including selling) or Recruitment Account Manager (no sales element) in future.

Minimum GCSE Grade C in English and Maths or equivalent.

Training & future prospects
You will receive excellent on the job training provided by the employer as well as work towards Nationally recognised Apprenticeship in Business Administration at Level 2
Working week (days&hours)
40 hours per week. 9am-6pm Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch between 12pm and 2pm.
Pay and benefits
£26,000 per year
