Account Manager / Internal Business Development Representative

I am recruiting for an Onsite Account Manager / Internal Business Development Representative within the construction industry. With a salary up to £30,000 they are an exceptionally nice company to work for and can boast an exceptional history within the construction sector.

Due to the expansion of their business they are now looking for an ambitious Candidate to join their team.

Within this role you will follow up outstanding quotes as instructed by the Sales Manager, send out literature and samples as requested. Other tasks will include promoting the company and it’s services on social media, maintaining contact with Clients who have future supply needs and record enquiries onto the company’s database.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have previous Account Management / Sales Administration experience within the construction industry
• An excellent telephone manner
• great IT skills and excellent literacy skills.
• A ‘can do’ approach to your work and a willingness to assist in other areas of the businesses administration support functions

The role will involve:

• Record all enquiries, quotations and prospects including specifiers and contractors onto the CRM system (ASMOS)
• Follow up leads
• Email monitoring – dealing with sales related activities
• Sending out literature and samples as required or requested.
• Draft and send letters and company information.
• Support with online live chat, Marketing activities, such as creating case studies, tagging and filing pictures
• Posting on the company social media sites

Necessary skills required:

• Excellent telephone manner
• Good IT skills
• Excellent literacy skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous Sales experience preferably from a similar background
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Teamwork

Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm, Friday 8am – 4.30pm
