Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, the Accounts Receivable Administrator is primarily responsible for the processing of customer invoicing and cash collection– high volume and high value invoices.
Main duties and responsibilities will include;
- Working within a team of 7 Accounts Receiveable Administrators reporting into Accounts Manager
- Dealing with huge volumes of Invoices/working to a fast accurate pace
- Managing cash application for non-sensitive customers
- Managing application cash of remittances for down payment
- Solving unmatched incoming payments
- Preparing & issuing commercial and non-commercial billing
- Cash collection, chasing monies, dealing with queries, raising and escalating issues
- Booking provisions for bad debt, deductions, interests or penalties on requests after calculation and validation by business
- Ensuring cash collection and customer communication for non-sensitive customers
- Analysing Customer Account Balances
- Confirming AR balances for selected customers (for external audit)
- Recording Customer Requests and Inquiries (administrative):
- Debtor reporting
- Route / Resolve / Respond to Customer Requests and Inquiries
- Providing internal and external auditors with AR data
- Utilising a SAP system
Qualifications
Educational Requirements
GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)
Experience
Focused on Credit Control and Sales Ledger experience
Previous experience working within a global organisation, used to a fast pace
A good communicator who is a proven hard-worker and is a team player with an eye for detail
Preference given to those with experience with SAP systems
Salary £24,000 – £28,800
Excellent benefits – Flexitime/Pension
