Accounts Junior/Trainee Accountant

Due to growth my Client a highly successful firm of Chartered Accountants has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Accounts Junior/Trainee Accountant to join their highly professional, dynamic and welcoming team.

You will be based in smart offices easily accessible via car and most mainline rail routes.

This is an excellent new opening to start and progress your career with a firm that will offer a study package and on the job support and training. Maybe you will be already studying AAT or have just started ACA/ACCA training but not essential.

You will be a professional, articulate, self motivated individual with ideally 6 months to one year Accounts preparation experience although a recent Graduate will also be considered.

Depending on qualifications and experience a full job description will be tailored to your skills and experience and discussed at interview stage but main work will include –

Small business accounts production for companies, partnerships and sole traders.

Accounts/audit preparation

Bookkeeping, management accounts

VAT return preparation

Financial reporting

Business tax computations

Assisting Senior/Manager on larger projects

Ideally you will be familiar with Iris, Excel, Sage Accounts, Quickbooks but training will be provided.
