Our client is looking for an enthusiastic, tenacious and experienced team player. This person will do very well if they are creative and have an eye for colours. The candidate should be organised with natural time-management skills and a methodical way of thinking and working. They must be able to build strong relationships with customers, source leads and have a proven track record in sales.
An ambitious, vibrant and friendly person is needed to join the sales team and assist with managing existing accounts and developing new business. This person will need to be adaptable and strong minded to manage all areas of existing customer accounts and new business. They must have a good understanding of margins and the sales process. The right candidate will be given training in design, costing, import and all existing products within our ranges. The successful applicant will be taught the ethos and the way they manage accounts and will be expected to help implement new systems and work with the sales team to create new ideas for all marketing, projects and events.
This person will have previous sales experience and developed/managed their own accounts.
Responsibilities
- Respond to sales enquiries (email, phone and fax)
- Make sales orders and invoices
- Build customer relationships and manage accounts
- Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and managing quality of product and service delivery to an extremely high standard
- Present products and services to customers (current & potential)
- Source and develop new customers
- Make cold calls (Generate and Qualify Business)
- Negotiate with customers
- Develop proposals, quotes and orders
- Participate in trade shows, fairs and events.
- Create and execute all events with the Management team
- To have knowledge or an understanding of manufacturing, wholesale and retail sales techniques
- Prepare and plan sales and marketing strategies as well as your time management
- Plan and conduct marketing ideas/activities
- Watch competitors and the market condition

Based in Poole. Free Parking
£26,400 – £30,000
Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm.
