Swift Payments Officer

An exciting new opportunity has become available at an International Bank for a Payments Clerk.

Duties to include:

• Effecting SWIFT transfers

• Arrange foreign exchange deals where necessary

• Processing of incoming funds to customer accounts

• Process new and existing standing orders, cheques, direct debts, etc.

• Checking of test keys and message distribution

• Ensure incoming FX/MM confirmations are accurate

• Investigation of queries

The candidate will have:

• Good knowledge of payment and clearing procedures

• Good understanding of money laundering regulations

• Good IT skills – excel

• Experience in SWIFT payment/message preparation (manual and automated) – MT103, 102’s and MT 202’s

This is an ongoing temporary role that the client is willing to pay up to £26,000 per year depending on experience.
