You will help the Accounts Supervisor in the production of monthly management accounts and general accounting duties.
Key responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant job will include:
-Process all purchase ledger invoicing/credit notes
-Reconcile all supplier statements
-Place all daily sales ledger invoicing in envelopes
-Bank reconciliation
-Process monthly purchase orders within the purchase ledger accrual journal
-Update the cash flow spreadsheet daily
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes/skills:
-Experience within an accounts department with strong administration, banking and reconciliation skills
-GCSE English and Math, both with a minimum of grade C
-IT Literate – Use of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
-Written communication skills
-Full UK Drivers License
