Accounts Assistant

RK Accountancy have a really exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join a leading distribution business based in Wrexham. This is an excellent role that will offer someone a broad experience of accounts along with training and a clear route of career progression.

This is a £20million+ turnover organisation with a team that currently stands at 5 in accounts. Initially you will work alongside all the other team members to gain an understanding of how the business works and be involved with Credit Control. Sales Ledger and Management Accounts. You will be offered study support to progress within the business to assisting the Financial Controller with various duties.

They have a well-established team that have been with the organisation for a size-able length of time and they are all rewarded for the services with an incredibly competitive package. They have an open plan office with a real hard work ethic throughout the business.

Main Duties will include
*Assisting with Credit Control and Sales Ledger teams
*Working closely with the management account to learn how to prepare monthly accounts
*Review costs and perform cost benefit analysis
*Develops financial reports for forecasting
*Using SAP systems to keep records correct and up to date
*Provide ad-hoc support across a range of other accounts activities

Skills Required
*Experience in accounts based role
*Knowledge of general accounting functions such as credit control and purchase ledger
*AAT qualifications are desirable
*Desire to work hard and progress your career in finance
