Accounts Receivable Administrator

Based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire our award winning client is seeking an Accounts Receivable Administrator to join them on a permanent basis.

This job would suit an individual who has a minimum of 1 years’ experience within Accounts, who’s looking to develop their knowledge and skills further. A self- motivated, organised approach is essential, along with the ability to work well as part of a team.

The successful candidate will have impeccable attention to detail as this role involves setting up new accounts and dealing with high volumes of data which must be accurate.

Job Responsibilities:

• Accurately processing and filing of incoming post as required
• Checking and updating internal documents for accuracy and setting up new accounts
• Working with other departments to professionally answer any set-up related customer correspondence received by email, phone or letter
• Monitoring and updating records to reflect the sale of void units
• Compiling monthly statistical reports and processing receipts on the daily bank statement
• Processing cheques received from customers
• Reallocations and transaction matching, completing daily bank reconciliations
• Contributing to the teams continuous process improvements, ensuring processes and procedures are efficient and effective as possible
• Prioritising workload to tie in with deadlines
• Providing training to ensure cover is available within the team
