One of the UK’s leading media planning and buying specialist is looking for an Affiliate Manager to successfully lead and manage a specialist team. The ideal candidate will already have past experience and an extensive knowledge of the channel marketplace, through a good use of networking and research data. Their fundamental role will be the management and development of affiliate relationships, optimizing performance and driving increased engagement to enable the maximisation of brand awareness.

Affiliate marketing is a crucial part of many advertisers’ digital marketing strategies. The expectation of the ideal candidate;

  • Working closely with a support team to ensure all affiliate operations and features are implemented correctly.
  • Being present at client meetings offering expert advice and taking a pro-active approach in solving issues.
  • Producing regular and detailed reports on all assigned programmes.
  • Overseeing clients account, being able to deliver informative advice and clear communication to ensure planning is in line with client’s objective.
  • Experience in managing and the presentation of a full affiliate programme from start to finish.
  • Successfully work with and co-ordinate with other team members to drive balanced and complementary strategies.
  • Highlight relevant updates in industry news and current trends, increasing awareness of these across the whole team.
  • Development of the audit process, supported by effective data research and analysis.
  • Leading channel planners to ensure they have an in depth and effective knowledge of the different channels.

  • Previous experience within the affiliate marketing industry, 2/3 years required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong decision making, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
  • A commercial mind-set with an extensive understanding of financial processes.
  • Confident in working autonomously, with the ability surrounding people management.
  • Highly analytical and detailed orientated, with excellent internal and external communication skills.
  • Effective delivery of cross sell revenue.
