Accounts Clerk

About the Role:
Working as part of the Bill Validation & Re-charge team, the appointed accounts clerk will be responsible for validating supplier invoices on behalf of our clients, submitting meter reads and calculating tenant re-charges particularly for property management companies.
As well as excellent rates of pay you will enjoy working in our fun and relaxed working environment. If you are up for a challenge, seek to utilise your accounts experience, you’ve come to the right place. On-the-job training and mentorship will be provided. This will be provided by experienced and well-informed professionals with years in the Energy industry.
Responsibilities
- Validation of supplier invoices
- Chasing remittances with suppliers
- Liaising with customers and suppliers to resolve billing disputes
- Working with tenant recharges
- Analysing Half Hourly Data
- Logging meter reads with suppliers for accurate bills
- Building relationships with suppliers and customers in a professional way
Expectations and Requirements
Essential Skills
- Excellent communication skills and an excellent telephone manner
- Good verbal and written skills
- A positive approach
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- The successful applicant must have an analytic mind, good people skills and high grades in Maths and IT.
- They need to be able to work on their own and have previous experience in energy industry.
