3rd Line Network Engineer

• Utilise a broad spectrum of network technologies to support our enterprise level clients and management of incidents;
• Apply depth and breadth of technical troubleshooting across complex network architectures.
• Contribute to knowledge tools and communities, and ensure learnings are shared for reuse.

Core Skills and Experience

• Working in a 24/4 shift pattern
• Routing & Switching – HP, Cisco
• Load-balancing – F5 LTM/GTM/ASM
• Firewall – Checkpoint, Juniper, MacAfee & Fortinet
• IPS/IDS – TippingPoint
• Network Monitoring & Management – HP NNMC, HP IMC, Solarwinds or CA Spectrum

Desirable Skills and Experience

• A passion for service availability
• UK Government accounts – Defence, Ministry of Justice, Home Office or DWP
• ITILv3 awareness
• Previously supported enterprise level customer at 2nd line level
