SALARY: £50,400 – £57,600

We are the UK’s leading manufacturer of Heavy Duty corrugated packaging solutions with numerous manufacturing sites around the country. Our clients cross the spectrum of Supply Chain, Logistics, Food, Automotive, Retail & Industrial Manufacturing.

To support our continued growth a new opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager. The role calls for a tenacious, self-motivated and insightful individual who can work across all areas of the Industrial Market. The successful applicant will have the ability to identify, develop and present market leading solutions. Ultimately supporting the company’s growth strategy.

AS THIS IS A NOTIONAL ROLE LOCATION IS FLEXIBLE.

YOUR MAIN DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

* Key Accounts management.
* Identify opportunities and develop solutions within the customer base.
* Creating new opportunities based on the companies “Solution based” development strategy.
* Actively promoting Industrial products, capabilities and services to the target market sectors.
* Development of new products and capabilities to the target markets.
* Networking within the company generating additional intercompany opportunities.
* Delivering overall growth in line with the Industrial sales strategy.

WE ARE INTERESTED IN RECEIVING APPLICATIONS FROM CANDIDATES WITH:

A strong background in New Business sales as well as Account management at senior level
* Knowledge of how supply chains work in our key segments, (Automotive, Chemical, FMCG, Pharmaceutical) or other Industrial market sectors.
* Experience of Heavy duty market would be beneficial, although not essential as comprehensive training will be given
* Excellent networking skills.
* Strong influencing skills with experience of working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Real ‘can-do’ attitude
* Self-motivated, Ambitious, entrepreneurial, with excellent team player skills.
* Ability to build and manage a team in the future.

It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles in the past or currently and in any of the following markets:

* Regional Sales Executive, Regional Sales Manager, Account Manager, National Account Manager, Sales Executive, Territory Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager. Business Development Manager. Sales Manager. Business Manager.
