Sheridan Maine is currently recruiting an Assistant Accountant to join our growing client in the Southampton area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a client on a temporary to permanent basis.
Typical day to day duties include:
– Ability to maintain General Ledger, Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger
– Reconciling UK bank accounts for all group companies
– Perform Monthly Account reconciliation with other group companies
– Sales & Cost Analysis
– Expenses
– Assist in month end & year-end procedures
– Submit Quarterly VAT return
– Other ad hoc duties
About You:
– Ability to work effectively under pressure
– Excellent communication skills
– Intermediate IT skills
– Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
– Team player
– AAT qualified or ACCA/CIMA part-qualified
