Title: Account Manager.
Reports to: Regional Manager
Based: Birmingham – Head Office
Salary: Negotiable,Uncapped Commission, £570 pm – Car Allowance

Overview
Our Account Managers all have an extensive customer base of established clients. The key objectives of the managers is to fully manage the client’s needs and requirements whilst scoping out new opportunity for our full portfolio of Intercity products from Telephone Systems, VoIP, SIP, Hosted, Leased Line, Broadband and Mobile.
So what will your role involve?
- To understand and meet a monthly target
- To meet pre-set KPi`s and manage a Personal Development Plan.
- To work within a predefined customer base and find new opportunities.
- Liaise with Senior Management to ensure the highest level of account Development is implemented.
- To actively promote all products and services of Intercity Telecom Ltd.
- Follow up on all customer request and requirements.
- To liaise with internal staff to ensure all transactions give little/no disruption to the clients business.
- To actively interact with colleagues within Intercity for other products and services.
- To be flexible and willing to develop product knowledge of Intercity’s products and services.
- Preparing a variety of sales status reports that include activity, follow-up and closings when requested by Line Manager.
- Provide regular, accurate sales forecasts.
- To complete all necessary internal paperwork with the highest level of detail.
- Meet agreed KPI’s and personal targets

In order to be a success in our role as an Account Manager you will need:
- Experience within the Telecoms industry with exposure to the Fixed Line arena
- Possess a high level of experience selling Business to Businesses
- Be confident in conversing with, and presenting to, senior management and business owners.
- Must have a proven track record of achieving new business targets
- Be articulate, professional, credible, ethical and possesses good business acumen.
- Able to network effectively, spot opportunities, close deals, and be strong enough to effectively manage the after-sales process and build internal and external relationships to maximize results for the company.
- Have a friendly outgoing personality
- Be of smart “business like” appearance with excellent time keeping
- A good team player with a flexible approach
- Display hunger, motivation and passion to succeed
