Accountant – Music

A successful, Central London based music related accountancy practice has an excellent opportunity for a hands on accountant to join the in-house music based accounts team on an temp to perm basis. Reporting to the senior accountant, you will be responsible for producing sets of accounts and full accounting functions and general bookkeeping for partnerships, Sole traders, limited companies and other small to medium size businesses within the entertainment field.

A Part or Fully Qualified Accountant you will need to have a solid financial accounting / bookkeeping background gained in an accounting practice, with a good level of MS Excel. You have strong organisation, interpersonal and communication skills with a confident, friendly outgoing nature that’s able to deal successfully with a number of different characters in the music industry.

This is a great opportunity for an experience accountant used to preparing statutory accounts with a small to medium sized practice background, and a genuine interest in music/entertainment industry. An opportunity to work within a diverse and interesting accounting organisation. If you have experience of SAGE/QuickBooks and are immediately available you will have a distinct advantage. Music accounts experience, gained in an accountancy practice is considered a big plus!!
